Privacy and terms

What we store when you vote
- An anonymous id in a cookie (
sc_guest), so you can't vote twice in the same poll. It is a random number, not linked to your name, email, phone or any social account. It lasts up to 180 days, and you can delete it at any time by clearing this site's cookies. - Your votes, stored with a scrambled form of that id, never your name. Totals are shown on the Sauce Sports stream together with chat votes.
- No accounts, no ads, no tracking pixels, no analytics.
What we don't keep
- Your IP address is used for about a minute to stop vote flooding, kept in memory only as a scrambled value, and never written to disk.
- We don't ask for or store an email, phone number or real name.
Other services
None. Everything on this site, fonts included, comes from Sauce.Center itself; your browser doesn't contact anyone else.
How long we keep votes
Votes are kept indefinitely, so past polls and results stay available. They're stored against the anonymous id only. Clearing your cookie starts a new id; old votes can't be linked back to you.
Who can see votes
- Results are public: overall counts and percentages for each poll, and how they moved during the show. Past polls stay viewable.
- Nobody's name is ever shown next to a vote. Not yours, not anyone else's.
- If you sign in (when sign-in arrives), only you can see your own past votes, in your profile.
Rules for voting
- One vote per person per poll. Player of the Game votes can't be changed; poll votes can be changed while the poll is open.
- Don't use scripts, bots or many devices to stack votes. Sauce Sports may discard votes that look automated and may close a poll at any time.
- Polls are for fun: results don't decide anything beyond what the show says on air, and there are no prizes unless the show announces them with their own rules.
